On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), began removing and replacing the culvert on Judd Rd between Warner Rd and Platt Rd in York Township.
Crews have started to build the box culvert and will start excavating and removing the old culvert this week.
The week of November 3, crews will finish backfilling, headwall installation and restoration. Once the project is complete, the road will be re-opened to traffic. WCRC will send out updates as the project progresses.
WCRC is able to perform this project thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and its partnership with the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office and the Township.
If you have any questions regarding this project, contact Ken Harris, Superintendent of Maintenance, at (734) 327-6696, or via email at [email protected].
