Pontiac Tr and N. Territorial Rd: Waiting for a Cure

By August 24, 2022Uncategorized

We continue to make great progress on the new roundabout at the intersection of Pontiac Tr and N. Territorial Rd in Salem Township. Our contractor finished pouring the concrete splitter and central islands (check out the picture below) earlier this week.

While the concrete is curing, our contractor is grading and compacting the stone road base in preparation for paving in the coming weeks.

The intersection remains closed to ALL through traffic. Access for those who live on Dutch Hill Dr and those traveling to businesses located at the intersection will be provided but NO traffic will be allowed to traverse the intersection itself. Law enforcement is issuing tickets to those who attempt to violate the closure. Please follow the posted detour or take an alternate route.
