November 15: Positive Case

By November 15, 2021COVID-19 Updates

Good Afternoon,

Unfortunately, we learned today that another one of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19. This person is assigned to the Manchester district crew. Due to privacy laws, we cannot identify the employee who tested positive for the virus.

We have performed an investigation and no employee was determined to have had “close contact” with this person.

This is an important reminder that COVID-19 still exists and is highly contagious. As always, we will continue to follow state law, county guidelines and MIOSHA rules when it comes to this pandemic. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19 or have had “close contact” with a COVID-19 positive person, do not report to work. Contact your supervisor and Nicole Peterson, (734) 255-0818, immediately for further instruction.

Please remember that employees are required to follow all work-related safety protocols, including wearing a mask while inside a WCRC facility whenever an employee leaves their assigned workplace, practicing social distancing and frequent hand washing. In-person meetings (with appropriate social distancing) and vehicle sharing are allowed but all participants must be masked.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your supervisor, Nicole or me.

Take care and stay safe,

Sheryl
