November 13, 2020
Good Afternoon,
The COVID numbers in Michigan and around the country are not looking good. State average positivity rates are over 10%, which signifies uncontrolled community spread. Hospitals are once again starting to fill up in some parts of the state.
As Governor Whitmer said in her press conference yesterday, the second wave is here.
Now is the time to double down and be extra vigilant at work and home. Keep your distance, avoid gatherings, wear your face mask and wash your hands frequently. We will continue to monitor state rules and guidance and adjust work rules as needed.
I know there are some beloved traditions coming up, from Opening Day for hunting to Thanksgiving and Christmas. As you are making plans with your family and friends, please think creatively about how you can celebrate safely. We want and need you to stay healthy.
If we all do our part now, we hope to be back to celebrating our favorite fall and winter traditions like we want to in 2021.
Thank you as always for all that you do.
Please have a fun and relaxing weekend,
Sheryl
