Nov. 4: Daylight Saving Time is Coming to An End!

Good afternoon,

Well, November is officially here, even though the weather hasn’t felt that way (no complaints here!). Pretty soon we will be prepping the turkey and getting out Christmas decorations. But before we can celebrate, we have to get through the dreaded end of Daylight-Saving Time. Clocks roll back this Sunday.

Love it or hate it, this change means we all need to be extra alert. According to the U of M Transportation Research Institute, pedestrians are more at risk of serious injury from a motor vehicle crash in the weeks following a return to standard time and the most dangerous time is the first hour of darkness in the afternoon. This is something to consider when you are driving or walking since most of us are both drivers and pedestrians at some point.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy these remaining “warm” days.

Take care and stay safe,

Sheryl
