WHERE: Jackson Road at Parkland Plaza and at Auto Mall Drive in Scio Township
WHY: New traffic signals
BACKGROUND: A contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has been working on new traffic signals on Jackson Road at Parkland Plaza and at Auto Mall Drive for three months and project is nearing completion. The signals have been in flash mode for several days to help motorists get familiar with signals at these new locations. On Thursday, September 28, 2017, the signals will start to operate normally with red, yellow and green indications.
To maintain the safety of road crews, motorists are asked to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly. The Road Commission thanks you for your patience as these improvements are completed.
