Good Afternoon,
I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend. As you may be aware, Governor Whitmer signed some additional executive orders late last week that impact us.
In light of these orders, we are making two changes to our Preparedness, Response and Moving Forward Plan, effective immediately.
- In-person, work-related meetings with 10 or fewer people are now allowed but virtual meetings are still preferred and highly recommended. If meetings must occur in-person, at least 6-ft of social distance should be maintained, and all participants shall wear a mask or face covering during the meeting.
- Masks or face coverings must be worn inside a WCRC facility whenever an employee leaves their assigned workspace (office, cubical, vehicle).
Other phase 2 changes outlined in our Preparedness, Response and Moving Forward Plan will be effective June 1.
On another note, last Wednesday evening, the Washtenaw County Board of County Commissioners (BOC) appointed Gloria Llamas and Jo Ann McCollum to our board, filling the two new road commissioner seats created by the BOC earlier this spring. I have spoken with Commissioners Llamas and McCollum; they are both excited to be road commissioners and looking forward to learning more about our organization. We will post their bios and photos to www.wcroads.org soon.
Once again, I know there has been nearly constant change over the past few months and I sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility as we navigate this together.
Have a safe week,
Sheryl
