Good Afternoon,
First, I’d like to thank everyone who was called in this weekend to clean up after Mother Nature’s latest. Your work during and after storms helps our community continue to respond to this growing healthcare crisis. It is also a reminder that our responsibilities to the public are critical and don’t stop even under a pandemic.
I know there are still a lot of questions about your leave options due to COVID-19. We have put together a list of frequently asked questions to help answer your questions. The FAQ sheet is attached and available on the COVID-19 page within Employee Central on www.wcroads.org (click here).
In short, you have options, whether you are a new or long-time employee; whether you are having trouble finding childcare, caring for a loved one with COVID-19 or you are advised to self-isolate by a healthcare provider.
These are unprecedented times, but I want each of you to know that we are here to help and there are options to protect your safety and well-being.
