Good morning,
Kudos & thank you to the WCRC team for their tireless effort during and after the Ice Storm on February 22-23. Mother nature dealt us a punch to the gut, with ice, wind, downed trees, and thousands left without power for days. Despite obstacles, WCRC rose to the occasion from our operations team working 30-plus consecutive hours, to our communications team handling a multitude of customer calls with respect and poise. Many WCRC employees were without power and still sacrificed to provide a high-quality service to the residents of Washtenaw County.
Well, I wish I could say that’s all folks- the pesky rodent claims six weeks of winter, and a wintry mix is in the forecast this weekend. Our team of snow fighters is mobilizing once again. Your commitment to keeping our roads safe during dangerous conditions and your sacrifice of being away from your families is what makes you, “Simply the Best!”
