March 24: Update to COVID Quarantine Procedures

Good morning,

I have more good news to share with you on the COVID front. Per the CDC, Washtenaw County is now in the “low” COVID-19 community level.

In response, the Washtenaw County Health Department has updated its required quarantine procedures for workplaces. At-home quarantine for exposed individuals is no longer required in most situations, even if the exposed individual is unvaccinated. Exposed individuals can continue to come to work if they do not have any symptoms.

If you test positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing COVID symptoms, you are still required to contact me and your supervisor immediately.

If you are exposed to someone with COVID, you do not need to notify me or your supervisor.

This is another sign that we are heading in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Nicole
