Good morning,
As I am sure most of you are aware, this week started out with a high load bridge strike on the Liberty Rd bridge over eastbound I-94 in Scio Township. The crash required many of our crew members to halt all current operations and assist in the emergency closure/repair. Thank you to everyone who participated in mitigating this incident. Whether that be assisting frustrated residents or physically monitoring the crash site, each of you played a vital role in safely addressing the incident. Fingers crossed that both I-94 and Liberty Rd are open soon!
On a happier note, I would like to announce that WCRC’s Spring Training will be taking place Wednesday, May 31, 2023! Mark your calendars for this full day event entailing guest speakers, training on MERS and team building, and, most importantly, lots of food.
