It’s really starting to feel like spring. With that being said, I would like to remind our organization that our Spring Training event will be held just one month from now on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The event will be hosted at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris J. Lawrence building, just like last year. Prepare yourself for a day filled with informative topics that include; State of the Agency, Mental Health Awareness, Harassment & Discrimination training, De-escalation Tactics and more.
This week our crews were able to complete culvert replacements on Warren Rd in Ann Arbor Twp, on Ridge Rd & Vreeland Rd in Superior Twp, as well as on Farrell Rd in Webster Twp. Additionally, both the NESC and SESC hosted two educational events regarding the renewal and restoration of the County-wide Road and Non-Motorized millage for 2025-2028. Overall, both events went smoothly, and we were able to provide important information to our elected township/county officials regarding our plan. Thanks to our D2, D5, D6 and Facilities crews for accommodating the events and for having the yards looking great! Thank you also to our communications team for preparing and running the events!
