BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the Livingston County Road Commission will be performing road work on Eight Mile Rd between Hall Rd and Whitmore Lake Rd in Northfield Township and Livingston County. Livingston County Road Commission’s Advisory
The westbound lanes will be closed to traffic. Eastbound lanes will remain open but will be under flag control during construction. Westbound motorists are urged to seek an alternate route.
The road work is expected to take approximately one week to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
