WHERE: Wiard Rd between Clark Rd and MacArthur Blvd in Superior & Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on Wiard Rd between Clark Rd and MacArthur Blvd in Superior & Ypsilanti Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The majority of the work will be completed on Tuesday, June 20, and the remainder will be completed in the coming weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
