WHERE: Whittaker Rd between Arkona Rd and Willow Rd in Augusta Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Starting on Friday, July 16, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Whittaker Rd between Arkona Rd and Willow Rd in Augusta Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane closures. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
This project was originally planned a few weeks ago but was delayed until now due to our contractor’s schedule. The road improvement is expected to take approximately 2 weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
