WHERE: Intersection of Whittaker Rd and Willis Rd in Augusta Township
WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, February 2, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and Pipetek will intermittently close lanes at the intersection of Whittaker Rd and Willis Rd in Augusta Township to perform drainage work on the intersection culverts.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
