WHERE: Whitmore Lake Road between 5 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road AND 6 Mile Road between Whitmore Lake Road and the US-23 SB ramp in Northfield Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Whitmore Lake Road between 5 Mile Road and 6 Mile Road AND 6 Mile Road between Whitmore Lake Road and the US-23 SB ramp in Northfield Township.
These roads will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately 5 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
