WHERE: Textile Rd between Whittaker Rd and Huron River Dr in Ypsilanti Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a resurfacing project on Textile Rd between Whittaker Rd and Huron River Dr in Ypsilanti Township.
This work is related to a larger resurfacing project that will be taking place on Textile Rd between Crane Rd and Rawsonville Rd in Pittsfield & Ypsilanti Townships. WCRC will be hosting a virtual public meeting regarding this project on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Click here to learn more about the project.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
