WHERE: Superior Road between Huron River Drive and Orchard Lane in Superior and Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Railroad equipment transport
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, starting at approximately 10 a.m., lane restrictions will be put in place on Superior Road between Huron River Drive and Orchard Lane while a contractor for Amtrak transports some railroad equipment.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The transport is expected to take a few hours. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and railroad schedules.
