WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 1, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin performing drainage work on Smythe Rd between Pleasant Lake Rd and Wingate Rd in Sharon Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions.
The drainage work is expected to take approximately four days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
