WHERE: Sharon Hollow Road between Sharon Valley Road and Pleasant Lake Road in Sharon Township
WHY: Road patching
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will mill a portion of Sharon Hollow Road between Sharon Valley Road and Pleasant Lake Road in Sharon Township. This is in preparation for heavy asphalt patching that will take place later this week. Once this work has been completed, WCRC will chip seal this section of road later this summer.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
This phase of the work is expected to take approximately 5 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
