WHERE: Ridge Rd between Mott Rd and Geddes Rd in Superior Township
WHY: Surface maintenance
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin surface maintenance on Ridge Rd between Mott Rd and Geddes Rd in Superior Township.
Earlier this year, WCRC crews replaced a crossroad culvert at this location. This week, crews will return to perform surface maintenance over the crossroad culvert.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The roadwork is expected to take approximately two days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
