Lane Restrictions: Plymouth Rd (Superior Twp)

WHEN: Starting on Monday, June 20, 2022

WHERE: Plymouth Rd between M-153 and Napier Rd in Superior Township

WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal

BACKGROUND: Starting on Monday, June 20, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on Plymouth Rd between M-153 and Napier Rd in Superior Township. The road will not be closed but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

The work is expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

Drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.

WCRC will return to this area in a few weeks to apply a fog seal on top of the chip seal and place permanent pavement markings.

CONTACT: If you have any questions, please contact Ken Harris, superintendent of maintenance, (734) 327-6696 or via email at [email protected].
