WHERE: Platt Rd between Bemis Rd and US-12 in Pittsfield Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on Platt Rd between Bemis Rd and US-12 in Pittsfield Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The majority of the work will be completed on Thursday, June 6, and Monday, June 10. The remaining work will be completed in the coming weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
