WHY: Water main break
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, a water main break on Packard Road west of Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township has impacted traffic. The road is still open but down to one lane in each direction while Pittsfield Township crews make the necessary repairs.
WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The water main repair is expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors.
