WHERE: Packard Rd between Carpenter Rd and Hewitt Rd in Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships
WHY: Pavement patching
BACKGROUND: During the week of August 23, 2021, a contractor for DTE Gas will patch sections of pavement on Packard Rd between Carpenter Rd and Hewitt Rd in Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Townships.
These patches are required after DTE Gas needed to perform unexpected maintenance on underground utilities.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Sidewalks and crossing signals will not be impacted by this work.
