WHERE: Old US-12 near Fairways Ln on the border of Lima Township and the City of Chelsea
WHY: Permit work: DTE gas
BACKGROUND: Starting on Thursday, October 14, 2021, DTE gas will begin permit work on Old US-12 near Fairways Ln on the border of Lima Township and the City of Chelsea.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane closures. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
