WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on N. Delhi Rd between Huron River Dr and township line in Scio Township, Miller Rd between Zeeb Rd and Wagner Rd in Scio Township, Maple Rd between Craig Rd and Newport Rd on the border of Ann Arbor and Scio Townships and Newport Rd between Maple Rd and City of Ann Arbor in Ann Arbor Township.
The roads will not be closed, but delays are likely. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to seek an alternate route.
The work is expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
