WHY: Shoulder work
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will place gravel shoulders on Moon Road between Willis Road and Bemis Road in York Township.
This work will be conducted between approximately 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. under lane restrictions and should be completed by Thursday, November 15. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and other circumstances.
There may also be delays within the roundabout at Moon Road and Bemis Road while shoulders are placed around the intersection.
DETOUR: The posted detour will be Willis Road to Platt Road to Michigan Avenue (U.S. 12).
