WHY: Permit work
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, RL Coolsaet on behalf of DTE Gas will be performing permit work and the intersection of McCartney Rd and Grove Rd in Ypsilanti Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The permit work is expected to take approximately seven weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
