– Island Lake Rd between Lima Center Rd and Dexter-Pinckney Rd in Dexter and Webster Townships
– N. Territorial Rd just east of Mast Rd in Webster Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Monday, July 11, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on Dexter Townhall Rd between Island Lake Rd and the county line in Dexter Township and Island Lake Rd between Lima Center Rd and Dexter-Pinckney Rd in Dexter and Webster Townships. WCRC will also continue a chip seal project on N. Territorial Rd just east of Mast Rd in Webster Township.
The roads will not be closed, but delays are likely. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to seek an alternate route.
The work is expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
