WHEN: Starting Monday, October 28, 2019
WHERE: Huron River Drive between the entrance to the Dexter-Huron Metropark and Zeeb Road in Scio Township
WHY: Non-motorized pathway paving
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 28, 2019, contractors for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin paving the non-motorized pathway being built along Huron River Drive in Scio Township.
To accommodate this work, there will be lane restrictions along Huron River Drive between the entrance to the Dexter-Huron Metropark and Zeeb Road.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
Lane restrictions are expected to last approximately 3 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
