WHY: Asphalt overlay
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, August 20, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will perform an asphalt overlay on Hankerd Rd between N. Territorial Rd and the Livingston County Line in Dexter Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions.
The roadwork is expected to take approximately ten days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
