WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Friday, May 15, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin performing drainage work on Hankerd Rd between N. Territorial Rd and the County Line in Dexter Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions.
The drainage work is expected to take approximately one day weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
