WHERE: Dorset Avenue between US-12 and Tyler Road AND Tyler Road between Dorset Avenue and Wiard Road in Ypsilanti Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 8, 2020, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Dorset Avenue between US-12 and Tyler Road AND Tyler Road between Dorset Avenue and Wiard Road in Ypsilanti Township.
The roads will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Pedestrians will have access to sidewalks and crossing signals during construction, there is some sidewalk repair work planned on Dorset near US-12 but it will be limited.
