WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) continues to perform drainage work on Dixboro Rd between 5 Mile Rd and 6 Mile Rd in Northfield and Salem Townships.
The road is not closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The drainage work is expected to take an additional week to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
