WHY: Tree removals
BACKGROUND: On Monday, March 29, 2021, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin tree removals on Dixboro Rd between the entrance to U of M’s Matthaei Botanical Gardens and the Marshall Nature Center in Ann Arbor Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
