WHERE: Cavanaugh Lake Rd between Loveland Rd and Pierce Rd in Sylvan Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a preventative maintenance chip seal project on Cavanaugh Lake Rd between Loveland Rd and Pierce Rd in Sylvan Township. Work will also continue on Werkner Rd just north of M-52 in Sylvan Township.
The road will not be closed, but delays are likely. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to seek an alternate route.
The work is expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
