WHERE: Ann Arbor-Saline Road between Maple Road and Oak Valley Drive in Pittsfield Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, May 13, 2020, a contractor under permit from the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Ann Arbor-Saline Road between Maple Road and Oak Valley Drive in Pittsfield Township. They will be milling the road approach into the new development in this area.
Ann Arbor-Saline Road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
At this time, the road work is expected to take one day. The contractor will be back later this summer to pave the milled section. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
