WHERE: Intersection of Textile Rd and Whittaker Rd in Ypsilanti Township
WHY: Water main repair
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, August 5, 2021, Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) closed a lane of traffic at the intersection of Textile Rd and Whittaker Rd in Ypsilanti Township to repair an issue with a water main.
The intersection will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to the lane closure. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
YCUA staff are onsite evaluating the situation. A timeline for repairs is unknown at this time.
