WHY: Traffic signal improvements
BACKGROUND: On Monday, December 5, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will intermittently close lanes at the intersection of Ford Blvd and Russell St in Ypsilanti Township to perform traffic signal work.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The traffic signal improvements are expected to take approximately one month. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
