WHERE: Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris St in Ypsilanti Township.
WHY: Roadway deterioration and evaluation
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the east bound lane on Grove Road between Margarita Street and Harris Street in Ypsilanti Township. East bound traffic will be shifted to the center lane. Two-way traffic will be maintained.
WCRC decided to close this lane after evaluating the condition of the roadway and adjacent sidewalk area.
A schedule to reopen the closed lane at this location is currently undetermined. WCRC thanks you in advance for your patience as the agency determines the best course of action to address this lane closure.
