WHY: Traffic signal installation
BACKGROUND: On Monday, December 5, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will intermittently close lanes at the intersection of Ellsworth Rd and Oak Valley Dr in Pittsfield Township to install a traffic signal.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The installation is expected to take approximately one month. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
