Good morning,
I continue to be excited about the great news we shared earlier this week. It feels wonderful to be walking around without a mask, have people back in the office and actually see their faces!
It also causes me to reflect back over the past 15 months. I sent the first update to you about something called the “coronavirus” on March 12, 2020. 15 months and 107 emails later, we have hopefully put this pandemic in the rear-view mirror.
At home and at work, we all had to rapidly adapt to the ever-changing environment and guidelines from federal, state and county agencies. While I know there were some bumps along the way, I’m extremely proud of us. Despite everything, we continued to provide the essential services that our community relies on us to do while staying relatively healthy. We have grown as an organization and learned a lot about working differently. I hope we can continue to grow and find even better ways to fulfill our mission of serving the public.
