January 6: Happy New Year & 2022 Q4 ROW Award

Good morning,

Happy New Year! It’s crazy to think that 2022 is behind us and we are already onto the next.

A huge thank you to all of you who worked hard over the holidays keeping the roads clear and people traveling safely throughout the county. I hope you still had time to enjoy the holiday season and spend time with the people that you love. Looking ahead, I am excited for another strong year for WCRC and working with each and every one of you.

Thank you also to Aaron Berkholz for starting 2023 off on a charitable foot by coordinating the American Red Cross Community Blood Drive WCRC hosted yesterday. As Aaron mentioned, donating blood is a lifesaving cause and our organization appreciates everyone who took the time to contribute. Please mark your calendars for April 19 and June 14 when we will have two more opportunities for you to give to this worthy cause.

This week, we also drew winners for the 2022 Q4 ROW Award! Winners were randomly selected from the 11 nominations that we received. Congratulations to Tracy Balkwell, payroll clerk, and Lisa Jones, permit coordinator, on being selected! And thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. Please continue to recognize the hard work done by your co-workers. We will have another drawing for 2023 Q1 in April.

Fingers crossed we have a quiet weekend ahead with time for rest and relaxation.

Take care and stay safe,

Sheryl
