Good morning,
What a crazy week of weather conditions! From snow to rain to ice back to rain, our operations crews have been dealing with it all. Our crews have been addressing back-to-back storms for over two weeks now and it has been a marathon. Once again thank you for all the efforts this past week!
Looking ahead, I am excited to announce three educational events that our organization will be hosting for township and county elected officials regarding the WCRC project plan for the renewal of the Four-Year County-wide Roads and Non-Motorized Millage for 2025-2028. These events will be hosted in our administrative building on 2/29, the Northeast Service Center on 3/13 and the Southeast Service Center on 3/14. We know these local dollars, approved by voters, are an essential source to providing a high-quality road and non-motorized transportation system. There will be much more to share on this topic in the future!
On another note, our finance team was able to send out W-2 forms last week. This form contains important information that will be necessary to complete your tax return in April. It also provides an overview of your total earnings and tax deductions. If you haven’t received it, keep an eye out for a letter in the mail or contact our finance team.
Lastly, our engineering department is recruiting interns for Summer 2024. Check out our website for more information, here. Feel free to share this information with anyone who may be interested in or qualified for the position.
I hope you all have a good weekend. Big game on Sunday for Detroit Lions fans, Go Lions!
Matt
