WHY: Forestry
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin performing forestry work on Smythe Rd between Pleasant Lake Rd and Wingate Rd in Sharon Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions.
The forestry work is expected to take approximately three days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
