WHY: Permit work-utility work
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Consumers Energy will begin utility work on McGregor Rd between Allan Dr and Shell Beach Rd in Dexter Township.
The utility work will take approximately one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
