WHY: Chipseal
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be performing chipseal work on Huron River Dr between Whittaker Rd and Textile Rd in Ypsilanti Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
