WHY: Permit work: Utility work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, September 15, 2025 DTE will be performing utility work on Dexter-Chelsea Rd between Island Lake Rd and Dancer Rd in Lima Township.
The work is expected to take approximately 5 months to complete.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures and lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
